Description

The solar-powered mole repeller is pushed directly into the ground and emits sound pulses into the soil at regular intervals. The frequency alternates between 400 and 1000 Hz. An integrated solar panel charges the built-in battery in daylight. With a length of 36 cm and a stated range of up to 15 m, the device is suitable for lawns, beds and garden areas.

For use in soil

To transfer the vibrations into the ground, push the plastic shaft into the soil. The device is intended for garden areas with suitable ground; it is not intended for use on balconies or paved surfaces without soil.

Solar operation and use

The solar panel is located in the round head and supplies energy to the integrated battery. A sound pulse is emitted every 20 seconds. The on/off switch starts or stops the device.

Frequently asked questions

How is the device used?

Push the plastic shaft into the soil. The round head remains above ground so that the integrated solar panel receives daylight.

How often does the device emit a pulse?

The device emits a pulse every 20 seconds.

Can the mole repeller be used on a balcony?

This device is not intended for a balcony without soil. It transfers its pulses through the shaft into the ground.

Will the solar panel charge in cloudy weather?

It can charge in diffuse daylight, but less effectively than in a bright location. Prolonged cloud or heavy shade can reduce the available energy and therefore limit operation.

Is the deterrence of moles or voles guaranteed?

No. Ground conditions, installation location and the animals’ response affect performance. The stated range does not describe an area that will be reliably protected in every garden.

Are the pulses audible to people?

The frequencies of 400–1000 Hz are within the human hearing range. How clearly the signal can be heard above ground depends on the installation and surroundings.
