Description

Bradas nylon cable ties bundle cables and wires using a self-locking head. Each pack contains 100 pieces of the selected dimension and colour. The UV-stabilised design is intended for outdoor applications. Depending on width, the stated holding strength is between 8 and 80 kg; these values are not permissible lifting loads.

Choose by width and length

The length must cover the bundle circumference, including allowance for the fastening head. More than 30 sizes are available, from 2.5 × 100 to 9.0 × 920 mm, in black or transparent. Wider ties have higher stated holding strengths; do not tighten them so much that the cable sheathing is damaged.

Self-locking standard fastening

The toothed, flexible nylon strip engages in the self-locking head. This standard design is intended for one-time fastening and cannot be opened without destruction once tightened.

Frequently asked questions

How do I choose the right size?

First measure the bundle circumference and allow sufficient extra length for the fastening head. Choose the width according to the required holding strength. The pack of 100 contains one version, not a mixed assortment.

Are the cable ties suitable for outdoor use?

The nylon cable ties are UV-stabilised and intended for permanent outdoor use.

Can the cable ties be reopened?

No. The self-locking standard fastening is designed for one-time use.

How many cable ties are in a pack?

Each pack contains 100 pieces of the selected dimension and colour.

Can I lift loads with the cable ties?

No. The stated holding strengths do not make standard cable ties approved lifting or load-securing equipment. Use suitable, appropriately marked equipment for lifting loads.
