The Climax 756 is a reusable half mask with two A2 filters for organic gases and vapours. The cylindrical filters attach via two threaded connections. The flexible TPE mask body covers the nose and mouth, while an exhalation valve directs exhaled air outwards. The filters are replaceable and available separately.

Construction and filter system

The contents include two A2 filters, each with a diameter of 79 mm. The filters fit onto two threaded connections and can be replaced with suitable replacement filters from the 755/756 system.

Fit and filter type

The half mask must form a close seal against the face; facial hair in the sealing area can impair protection. A2 filters are intended for organic gases and vapours with a boiling point above 65 °C and do not provide particle protection. The device does not supply oxygen and is not suitable for oxygen-deficient environments.

How do I check the half-mask seal?

Adjust the straps correctly and carry out the seal check according to the instructions before each use. The mask edge must remain continuously against the skin; facial hair in the sealing line must not interfere with the seal.
