The cap is domed, made from metal and has a chrome-look finish. The outer diameter is 40 mm; versions with a 20 mm or 25 mm inner diameter are available.

Installation

Measure the axle diameter before installation. Place the suitable cap on the axle end and press it firmly into place; the Starlock retaining mechanism holds it on the axle.

How is the Starlock cap fitted?

Place the cap matching the axle diameter straight onto the axle end and press it on according to the installation instructions. The retaining mechanism holds it on the axle. Do not fit it at an angle or deform the domed outer surface.

Can a removed cap be reused?

The retaining fit can deform when the cap is pulled off. For a reliably secure fit after removal, use a new suitable cap unless the manufacturer expressly permits reuse.

Do I need one or two caps for a wheel change?
