Four separately adjustable outlets

The four independent valves each control one irrigation line. They can be opened, throttled or closed individually; the available water flow depends on the line pressure and the connected system as a whole.

Connections and installation

Screw the 1-inch female thread onto a matching tap with a male thread. With the supplied reducer, the inlet fits a ¾-inch male thread. Connect suitable hose quick couplings to the four push-on nipples; their hose clamp must match the relevant hose diameter.

Match irrigation to the available water flow

Several open lines share the available water supply. If performance is insufficient, irrigate the areas in sequence. The hand valves throttle flow and do not replace a pressure reducer for sensitive drip systems. Before frost, remove the splitter, drain it completely and store it in a frost-free place.

Does the splitter fit a ½-inch water tap?

The supplied connection options are 1 inch and ¾ inch, each for a matching male thread. A suitable additional adapter is required for a ½-inch tap.

Will four lawn sprinklers run at full performance simultaneously?

This depends on the available water flow, pressure and the requirements of the connected equipment. If the sprinklers are not supplied sufficiently, open the lines in sequence.

Can I use it to keep the pressure constant for drip irrigation?

The valves adjust flow manually. They do not maintain a fixed outlet pressure; if the drip system requires a pressure reducer, this must be used separately.

Can a hose remain connected while its outlet is closed?

Yes. Each outlet can be closed separately without disconnecting the other hoses.

What should I do before the first frost?

Turn off the water supply, remove the splitter and drain it completely. Then store it in a frost-free place.
