Description

Water for household and vehicle use

The water can be used in suitable steam irons, humidifiers and windscreen washer systems. Check beforehand which water quality or mixture the appliance requires. In a cooling system, water alone does not replace a specified coolant mixture.

Treatment and water quality

Deionisation removes dissolved salts. The water is additionally UV-treated. It complies with the manufacturer’s specifications for DIN 43530 (VDE 0510) and EN 285. It is intended for technical applications and is not drinking water.

Store hygienically

Reseal the container after dispensing and keep it clean. Use separate, clean pouring aids for different applications. Protect from frost and strong heat.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use it to top up any car battery?

Only top up batteries designed for this and maintained according to their instructions. Do not open sealed or maintenance-free batteries.

Should I fill my steam iron exclusively with it?

This depends on the appliance. Some appliances require a mixture or a different water quality. The iron’s instructions are decisive.

Can I dilute windscreen washer concentrate with it?

Yes, provided the windscreen cleaner’s instructions allow this. Follow the stated mixing ratio; water alone provides no frost protection.

Is UV-treated water automatically sterile?

No. UV treatment does not guarantee that the bottled product is sterile. Applications requiring sterile water need a product specifically designated for that purpose.

Can I fill an aquarium entirely with it?

It is intended for targeted mixing. The required water hardness and other water values must suit the animals and plants kept; pure treated water is not a general substitute for suitable aquarium water.
