Thread and mating component

The female thread must match the nominal size and thread type of the mating male thread. Suitable components include compatible fittings, filters or distributors. The inch designation is a nominal thread size, not a directly convertible pipe outside diameter.

Pipe connection

The pipe side is designed for PE service pipes with 20, 25, 32, 40 or 50 mm outside diameter. The compression ring and union nut are separate components; the O-ring helps seal the pipe side.

Installation and use

Cut the pipe cleanly to length, prepare the edge according to the installation instructions and insert it to the required depth. Tighten the union nut according to the manufacturer’s instructions. The UV-resistant, corrosion-resistant plastic fitting is intended for underground installation. Check the connection before backfilling and protect the system from remaining freezing water.
