Choose the length for the application

The 530 mm version is suitable for smaller branches and thinner trunks. The 610 mm version offers a versatile length for many garden jobs, while 760 mm provides a longer cutting stroke for larger trunk diameters and firewood. The blade length must match the saw's blade mount and bow length.

Using wet-wood teeth

The larger tooth gullets and set teeth support chip removal when cutting damp wood. Fit the blade correctly in the bow saw and tension it sufficiently before sawing. For predominantly dry wood, a blade with teeth designed for that material may provide a smoother cut.
