Hearing protection for noisy work

Suitable for work in workshops, gardens, on construction sites or in industry. Whether the attenuation is sufficient for the specific workplace depends on the noise exposure and correct fit. The ear defenders are assigned to the medium size range.

How can I position the ear defenders correctly?

Manually adjust the flexible headband and ear cups and position them so that the cushions seal all around without pressing uncomfortably.

What is the difference between SNR and H, M and L?

SNR is a combined attenuation value from laboratory testing. H, M and L describe attenuation at high, medium and low frequencies. Here they are 31, 22 and 14 dB; protection is therefore not identical for all noises.

Does SNR 25 dB mean uniform attenuation for every noise?

No. The SNR value does not describe 25 dB attenuation at every frequency. Actual protection depends, among other things, on correct fit and the noise concerned.

Can I wear the ear defenders with glasses?

Glasses arms can affect the tight seal of the cushions. The cups must fully enclose the ears and seal all around. With other protective equipment, also check that the items do not interfere with each other.

What should I do if the cushions are damaged?

Do not continue using the ear defenders if the cushions are damaged or hardened. If suitable replacement cushions specified by the manufacturer are available, use them; otherwise replace the ear defenders.
