Description

The Högert Ditter softshell jacket is designed for transitional seasons, changeable weather and mild winter conditions. The 3-layer material, made from 96% polyester and 4% elastane at 300 g/m², combines freedom of movement with wind and weather protection. A removable hood, adjustable cuffs, hem adjuster and three zipped pockets make the jacket practical for work and leisure.

Weather protection for changeable days

The windproof softshell repels light rain. The hydrostatic head is 2,000 mm and water vapour permeability is 1,000 g/m²/24 h. These material values do not guarantee a particular duration of rain protection or completely dry clothing during strenuous work. Plan additional suitable rainwear for prolonged or heavy rain.

Practical features

The hood can be removed. Two lower hand pockets and a chest pocket hold smaller work and everyday items. Reflective elements at the back improve visibility at dusk but do not replace high-visibility clothing.

Frequently asked questions

Is the jacket suitable for persistent rain?

Ditter is a water-repellent softshell jacket with a 2,000 mm hydrostatic head. It is not intended to replace a rain jacket with suitably waterproof seams and fastenings during persistent rain.

Can the hood be removed?

Yes. The hood is removable and can be taken off for indoor work or milder weather.

Is the jacket certified as high-visibility clothing?

No. The reflective elements improve visibility, but the jacket is not certified high-visibility clothing to EN ISO 20471.

Which sizes are available?

S, M, L, XL, 2XL and 3XL are available. The manufacturer’s size allocation is S = 48, M = 50, L = 52, XL = 54, 2XL = 56 and 3XL = 58. Consider the clothing worn underneath when trying it on.

How do I care for the softshell material?

Wash gently at 30 °C with a suitable technical detergent. Do not use fabric softener, bleach, an iron or a tumble dryer. If the outer water repellency decreases, it can be refreshed with an impregnation product suitable for softshell.
