Description

Högert’s ALAND high-visibility fleece jacket is made to EN ISO 20471 Class 3 and intended for workplaces with high visibility requirements. The 100% polyester yellow fleece weighs 290 g/m² and is complemented by all-round reflective strips. Elasticated cuffs, an adjustable hem and the longer back support the fit during movement. Two side pockets provide storage. The jacket has no hood.

High visibility

The jacket is assigned to high-visibility Class 3 under EN ISO 20471. The yellow material and all-round reflective strips support visibility in daylight and artificial light.

A cut designed for movement

The longer back covers the lower back more effectively when bending. The adjustable hem and elasticated cuffs help adapt the jacket to the body.

Wear high-visibility clothing visibly

Wear the jacket closed and keep the yellow areas and reflective strips clearly visible. The high-visibility clothing required depends on the specific workplace. Any jacket worn over it must also provide the high-visibility function required there.

Is Class 3 automatically sufficient for every workplace?

Class 3 is the highest clothing class within EN ISO 20471. Selection nevertheless depends on the hazards and requirements of the workplace. Condition, fit and visible warning areas are also important.

Can I wear a normal rain jacket over it?

Where high-visibility clothing is required, its warning areas must not be covered by an ordinary outer jacket. Use a suitable high-visibility rain jacket as the outer layer.

How can I preserve its high-visibility performance during use?

Wear the jacket closed with the warning areas unobstructed. Check heavy soiling, faded material and damaged reflective strips before use. Follow the care and replacement instructions in the manufacturer’s guide.

How should I wash the ALAND jacket?

Wash at 40 °C according to the care label, do not bleach and do not iron. Do not use fabric softener. Follow the permitted number of washes and other instructions on the label and in the guide.

Is the jacket intended as an outer layer for rain and strong wind?

Fleece is primarily a warming layer. In rain or strong wind, add a suitable outer high-visibility jacket.
