The S100x8 IBC flap valve is designed for containers and tanks with a matching S100x8 connection. The flap mechanism opens and closes the outlet directly on an open/close principle. Check the thread size and connection type of the existing container before purchase.

Compare the connection size before purchase

S100x8 identifies the tank and outlet thread specification. Both the thread size and the connection type on the existing container must match before installation. An S60x6 connection is not compatible with this model.

Plug and outlet

The outlet has an S100x8 male thread and can accept compatible adapters. The supplied plug seals the outlet when no further connector is fitted.

Installation and suitable medium

Empty the container before replacing a tank valve. Clean the threads and sealing surfaces and check them for damage. For media other than irrigation water, the compatibility of the complete valve, including seals, with the substance, concentration and temperature must be confirmed.

What is the difference between S100x8 and S60x6?

S100x8 has a 100 mm nominal thread diameter and 8 mm pitch; S60x6 has 60 mm and 6 mm. The threads do not fit directly together. Thread size alone does not indicate flow capacity.

Can another adapter be connected?

Yes, provided the adapter is designed for the S100x8 male thread.
