Description

The Bradas female-thread coupling connects a 3/4-inch male thread to a GEKA-compatible claw connection. The brass body is designed for fixed garden installations and allows compatible hoses, tails or irrigation components to be connected and disconnected quickly. Hemp with sealing paste or PTFE tape can be used for the threaded connection.

Matching threaded connection

The cylindrical G-3/4 female thread screws onto a matching male thread. The connection should be clean and undamaged before installation. The NBR sealing ring is on the claw side.

Connect quickly

Once installed on the thread, compatible claw fittings can be changed without further screwing. The connection is designed for mating parts with a compatible GEKA design.

Pressure and care

Observe the stated continuous pressure of approximately 8 bar. The burst pressure of approximately 10 bar is not an operating approval. Depressurise the line before disconnecting. Drain it completely for winter storage and follow the installation instructions for the tap or pump.

Which connection does the female-thread coupling fit?

The adapter fits a corresponding G-3/4 male thread. Its outside diameter is approximately 26.5 mm. A 1-inch thread measures approximately 33.3 mm and requires a different connector.

What connection is on the other side?

The coupling side is a GEKA-compatible claw connection that accepts matching mating parts.

How is the thread sealed?

Use hemp with sealing paste or PTFE tape on the threaded side. An NBR rubber ring provides the seal on the claw side.

Does the adapter also fit a 1-inch connection?

No. The adapter is designed for a 3/4-inch male thread. A suitable version is needed for a 1-inch connection.
