Toe protection, ESD and antistatic properties

The protection marking is SB A E SRC to EN ISO 20345:2011. ESD properties to IEC 61340-5-1:2016 help dissipate electrostatic charge within a suitable workplace system. They are not electrical insulation against electric shock.

Ventilated upper and sole

The water-repellent microfibre is perforated. Water can enter through these openings and the open heel area. The two-density PU/PU sole is oil- and fuel-resistant and tested for slip resistance to SRC; the heel area absorbs impact energy.

Fit and workplace selection

The heel strap and plastic buckle can be adjusted. The clogs are available in black and white, in sizes 35 to 48. Whether the open design suits your workplace depends on its protection and hygiene requirements.

Are the clogs waterproof?

No. Despite the water-repellent microfibre, liquids can enter through the perforation and open heel area.

How do ESD footwear differ from electrically insulating footwear?

ESD footwear dissipates electrostatic charge in a controlled manner. Electrically insulating footwear serves a different protective purpose. The FC03 are not insulating footwear for work on live electrical systems.

What toe cap is inside the shoe?

A composite toe cap protects the toe area. The rest of the construction, including the buckle, is also metal-free.

Are the clogs automatically suitable for every cleanroom?

No. ESD features alone do not constitute general cleanroom approval. The open design, material requirements and cleaning process must meet the requirements of the specific workplace.
