Description

The Högert Wetter S3 SRC winter safety boots combine a high leather shaft with synthetic fur lining. The steel toe cap and penetration resistance provide protection for work areas requiring this class. Water-repellent cowhide leather, the profiled PU outsole and removable insole support everyday use. Available in black, sizes 40 to 46.

S3 protection with steel toe cap

The boots comply with EN ISO 20345:2011, S3 SRC. The steel toe cap is tested with an impact energy of 200 J. The S3 construction also includes penetration resistance, antistatic properties, energy absorption in the heel area and a profiled outsole. Antistatic footwear is not a substitute for electrically insulating footwear.

Lined leather shaft and PU sole

Synthetic fur lines the high shaft. The reflective elements return incident light. SRC refers to slip-resistance testing on ceramic with soapy water and on steel with glycerine; particular care is still required on ice.

Leather care and drying

Brush off adhering dirt, wipe the leather with a damp cloth and leave it to dry at room temperature. Remove the insole for this. Avoid direct heat from radiators and use suitable leather care. Water-repellent leather is intended for occasional moisture; waterproof boots are required for persistent wet conditions.

Are the winter boots suitable for ice?

The SRC test concerns ceramic with soapy water and steel with glycerine, not ice. Take appropriate care on icy paths and, where necessary, use suitable additional measures.

Are the boots waterproof?

The cowhide leather is water-repellent. For prolonged wet conditions or work in water, an explicitly waterproof model is required.

Can I remove the insole for drying?

Yes. Dry the insole and boot separately at room temperature. Avoid direct heat from radiators.

How do I choose a size for winter socks?

Try the boots on with the socks you will wear at work. The toes and instep need sufficient room, while the heel should remain secure when walking. Sizes range from 40 to 46.

What temperatures are the boots designed for?
