The flexible black rubber mask body covers the nose and mouth. The filters can be replaced via threaded connections, while an exhalation valve directs exhaled air outwards.

A2 filters and mask design

The two cylindrical A2 filters are fitted to the side connections and can be replaced. Whether this filter class is sufficient for a particular workplace depends, among other factors, on the hazardous substance, concentration, oxygen content and duration of use.

Check the seal before every use

Adjust the head and neck straps so that the sealing line rests evenly against the skin. Carry out the seal check according to the instructions before every use. Facial hair in the sealing area may prevent an effective seal. The half mask does not supply oxygen and is unsuitable for oxygen-deficient environments.

Technical specifications

Mask model: Climax 755

Filter: 2 × A2, cylindrical, Ø 79 mm

Mask body: Flexible black thermoplastic rubber

Connections: 2 threaded connections of the 755/756 system

Valve: Exhalation valve

Filter replacement: Replaceable filters

Half-mask standard: EN 140

Filter standard: EN 14387

Frequently asked questions

Which filter class is included?

The set includes two A2 filters.

Which substance groups are A2 filters intended for?

A2 filters are intended for organic gases and vapours with a boiling point above 65 °C.

Do the filters fit the 755/756 system?

The filters are replaceable on the 755/756 system.

Does the half mask protect the eyes?

No. The half mask covers the nose and mouth; separate suitable eye protection is required.

What is the difference between A1 and A2 filters?

Both filter types are intended for organic gases and vapours with a boiling point above 65 °C.
