bradas-abdeckplane-120-g-m2-mit-oesen-silber-gruen
Tarpaulin 120 g/m² with eyelets, silver/green – Bradas

The Bradas tarpaulin, 120 g/m², covers garden furniture, firewood and stored building materials. The fabric is water- and windproof and UV-resistant. The silver outer side and green inner side can be distinguished when laying it out; aluminium eyelets around the perimeter provide fastening points.

Plan the cover for water run-off

The protective tarpaulin can be used indoors and outdoors. Lay it with a slope so rain can run off. Provide side ventilation for wood and moisture-sensitive items to minimise moisture build-up under the cover.

Fasten the reinforced edge evenly

The double-reinforced edge carries aluminium ring eyelets. Distribute suitable ropes or bungee cords across several fastening points and avoid contact with sharp edges. Choose the fastening method so the tarpaulin does not flap loosely in the wind.

Seven sizes and manufacturing tolerance

The available sizes are 2 × 3 m, 3 × 4 m, 3 × 5 m, 4 × 5 m, 6 × 8 m, 10 × 12 m and 10 × 15 m. The dimensions may have a manufacturing tolerance of ±5–10%. Allow for overhang and fastening routes when choosing the size.

Technical specifications

Manufacturer: Bradas

Fabric weight: 120 g/m²

Properties: Water- and windproof, UV-resistant

Edge: Double-reinforced

Eyelets: Aluminium ring eyelets

Colours: Silver outside, green inside

Variants: 2 × 3 m; 3 × 4 m; 3 × 5 m; 4 × 5 m; 6 × 8 m; 10 × 12 m; 10 × 15 m

Dimensional tolerance: ±5–10%

Frequently asked questions

Which size do I need to cover garden furniture?

Measure the furniture in its intended arrangement. Include the height of the sides to be covered, overhang and fastening routes as well as length and width. Do not plan to the nominal dimensions without reserve because of the dimensional tolerance.

Can I wrap firewood tightly all the way round?

Wood should remain ventilated under the cover. Protect the top from rain, allow water to run off and permit air circulation at the sides.

Does 120 g/m² indicate a specific material thickness?

The value describes the mass of the fabric per square metre. It is neither a millimetre measurement nor a permissible load for the eyelets or tarpaulin.

Does waterproof fabric prevent all moisture beneath the tarpaulin?

No. Condensation can form beneath a sealed cover. Ventilation, a slope and a gap between the tarpaulin and sensitive surfaces help when planning the cover.
