A blue full latex coating repels water, while the additional sandy black latex layer on the palm supports grip. The model is touchscreen-compatible and has a knitted cuff.

Warm hands for wet work

The brushed lining supports insulation when handling cold materials. The waterproof coating is practical for wet workpieces and damp outdoor conditions. Water can still enter through the open knitted cuff. Grip also depends on dirt, moisture and the surface involved.

Touchscreen use and fit

Compatible touchscreens can be operated while wearing the gloves. Response may vary depending on the device, screen protector and dirt. For precise gripping, choose a close-fitting glove that does not pull when you close your hand.

Technical specifications

Carrier material: 100% nylon

Lining: Polyacrylic, brushed

Coating: Full latex coating with additional sandy finish on the palm

Mechanical protection: EN 388, 2242X

Cold protection: EN 511, X21

Basic standard: EN ISO 21420

Features: Knitted cuff, touchscreen-compatible

Colour: Blue/black

Available sizes: 8–11

Frequently asked questions

Are these winter gloves waterproof?

Yes, the full latex coating is waterproof. Do not immerse the open knitted cuff and check for damage before use. Water resistance does not mean general chemical resistance.

What does EN 511 X21 mean?

X means no stated performance value for convective cold. 2 indicates level 2 contact-cold protection, and 1 indicates a passed water-penetration test. This marking does not define a personal comfort temperature.

Can I use them with my smartphone?

The model is marked as touchscreen-compatible. Operability also depends on the display, screen protector and glove condition. Test the combination before work where reliable input is important.

Which size should I choose?

Sizes 8 to 11 are available. Compare your hand circumference with the manufacturer’s size information; the glove number does not simply equal the circumference in centimetres. Fingers and palm should fit closely without pressure points.

How do I care for the coated gloves?

Gently hand-wash with lukewarm water and mild cleaner, then air-dry. Do not place on a radiator or tumble-dry. Check the coatings and knit for damage before further use.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1068/5520/3165/files/texxor-2228-winterhandschuh-latex-kaufenjpg-12297024.jpg?v=1788702436
